Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various functions essential to effective workforce management. This role involves assisting with talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS management. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of human capital management principles, employment law, and HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic HR initiatives and enhance organizational effectiveness.

Duties
- Support talent acquisition processes including HR sourcing, ATS management, interviewing coordination, and onboarding procedures such as employee orientation.
- Assist with employee evaluation processes, performance management, and training & development programs.
- Administer benefits programs and manage benefits documentation using systems like Paychex, ADP, or UltiPro.
- Maintain accurate HR data entry and data collection within HRIS platforms such as PeopleSoft, Workday, or Ceridian.
- Support compliance efforts related to OSHA, Workers' Compensation, Affirmative Action Planning, and other employment & labor law requirements.
- Aid in change management initiatives and organizational design projects to improve workforce efficiency.
- Manage employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality while supporting conflict management strategies.
- Contribute to strategic planning efforts related to talent management, succession planning, and workforce management.
- Prepare reports and documentation for HR metrics using Salesforce or iCIMS platforms.
- Assist with administrative tasks including contract preparation, social media management for employer branding, and general office support.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources or administrative roles within HR departments.
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, Taleo, Paylocity, or ADP is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, Workers' Compensation procedures, and affirmative action planning.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with data entry, data collection, and reporting within HRIS platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and support organizational change initiatives.
- Relevant educational background in Human Resources Management or related fields is preferred.
