Job description

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Personal Chef to join our team! You must have a passion for creating delicious meals and be comfortable cooking in private kitchens. Our ideal candidate knows how to develop menu items to meet the meal preferences of the family and our guests. You also order food and supplies, check ingredients for freshness, and prepare meals within the proper time frame. We will expect you to clean the cooking area and store all kitchen equipment and utensils.

Summary of essential job functions

Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsibility

• Discuss meal preferences and expectations with head of household
• Research food and equipment suppliers
• Order ingredients and other materials needed for meal preparation
• Examine orders for accuracy and freshness
• Cook delicious meals according to our schedule
• Plate and serve the meals
• Clean the kitchen cooking area and store utensils and cooking equipment

Minimum Requirements

Our ideal candidate will think out of the box, be proactive and take the initiative, have the ability to make quick decisions and work independently, and enjoy a challenge!

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Culinary School background
• Food safety training or certification
• 3 Years experience as a personal or restaurant chef
• Knowledge of a variety of dietary lifestyles and restrictions
• Ability to cook different types of cuisines
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Cook for variuos corporate functions
